Prostate conditions can affect a man at all ages although it is more common in the elderly man. Our urology clinic offers evaluation for prostate infection, inflammation, prostate enlargement, prostate cancer and elevated blood PSA (prostate specific antigen) level. We perform transrectal ultrasound and uroflow & bladder scan in the centre, facilitating a 'one-stop' approach.

Blood in urine may be obvious or not obvious (detected on urine test only). It may be continuous or intermittent. Hematuria or blood in urine may indicate a problem in the urinary system, such as kidney disease, cancer, stone or infection. Our urology clinic offer evaluation with ultrasound, CT Scan, kidney function test (combination of urine and blood tests)and  cystoscopy of the urine tract.

Kidney and urine stones can cause severe pain but may sometimes be silent till the kidney is damaged. Our urology clinic offer immediate evaluation and treatment for potential urine stone problems. CT scans and urgent surgery can be done to relieve pain and obstruction from stones. We also offer long term management in prevention of urine stones.

Our urology clinic sub specializes in uro-oncology, which is treatment for kidney cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer andtestes cancer. Evaluation is done with ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, PET scan and endoscopy with biopsy. On top of urology surgery, we work closely with the medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, pathologist and radiologist to provide a complete approach to cancer treatment.

We provide day surgery laser circumcision for both children and adults. Circumcision can be done in children as young as 2 years old. Laser circumcision causes less trauma and bleeding, therefore allowing quicker recovery. We work closely with a pediatric anesthetist to provide seamless surgery and recovery in children.

Vasectomy is a safe and reliable form of sterilization for the males. It may be done with the 'non-scalpel' technique which is associated with fewer complications. Is a minor surgery done under local or general anesthesia. Although vasectomy is considered an irreversible surgery, reversal is possible with a vasectomy reversal surgery. Ends of the vas are reconnected by a complex microsurgical procedure under general anesthesia.
